Mr. Giovanatto, has obtained a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor in 2008, and is in the process of obtaining his Master’s of Applied Science in the department of Mechanical, Automotive and Materials Engineering at the University of Windsor. He is working as a release engineer for G-Tech and is currently on assignment at Chrysler Group LLC, were he is responsible for after-treatment exhaust systems for diesel engines in compact vehicles. He worked as an assistant coordinator/CAD designer at the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board and in the estimating engineering department at Windsor Mold Group division of Emrick Plastics. He is currently working as a researcher in conjunction with his schooling. He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario Windsor-Essex Chapter. His research activities involve techniques in flow measurements, clean engine technology, lightweight metal castings, and high pressure die casting. He was part of a design team for his undergrad capstone racing kart project as the team leader. Tutoring and guiding students to continue higher education is part of his community service activities.
